We’re moving in! I’m dropping off staging materials on each trip, and I think most of it is there! Right now, we are finishing up on all of those little things and have started cleaning.
Our biggest obstacle is the exterior, as the weather here has been windy, wet and cold. In short, not fun. We thought by this point we would have some nicer days to tackle the jungle and sand pit that is the back yard, but the month of March has had other plans 🙂
There is a slight chance this place used to be a landscape and hardscape store… we’ve found every type of edging/ pavers/ rocks possible.
In the kitchen, we finally got the cabinet guy to finish off the drawers and dishwasher space. Now we need to hook up the appliances. The backsplash is set and is ready for grout. The one big question mark in there is the scalloped valance over the sink. I really can’t wait to get it gone!
The downstairs bath is waiting for its day. Believe it or not, the cabinet guy delay is what caused the bathroom delay. And notice that light? That was a whoops on my part! Somehow, I didn’t note my measurements right and ordered a light that will hit almost anyone on the head… a new light is ready to hang.
And here is the rest of the house. I can’t wait to decorate and make this place feel like a home!
