I love it! I actually just used the white briwax in my basement kitchen (even after seeing your failed sample test) and mine actually turned out amazing! Everyone who has seen it is amazed it was just a wax finish. aboutWish I could share a picture with you. I think the main reasons it worked for me are (1) the grain of my oak was already lighter than yours and (2) I also sanded it a bit with a very fine grit before waxing. I also used the oak trim boards to build a range hood, wrap the back of the island, and frame out the ends of the toe kicks just like you! Great minds think alike 😁
