There was a flurry of activity when I got to the flip house yesterday! It gives me an adrenaline rush to give a big push to finish up. Even the garage, which has been a dumping ground obstacle course of trash, cardboard, and fixtures, was cleaned out and vacuumed!
The kitchen countertops went in last week, and now the backsplash is up. The kitchen is one of those spots where the style was dictated by the materials and layout. My budget dictated the countertop color, and the backsplash went from there. I do love the tans against the white, and I love the penny tile 🙂
The fireplace room is also coming along. I took down the old mantle, painted the surround and added a floating mantle. The step has been retiled and is being trimmed out.
Out front, I’m waiting on a new light fixture, garage door and paint. Bathroom fixtures are also going in
Lighting is in process, and the back porch is looking much different! It’s now open to the breezes. The last piece is the floor, which we are still trying to figure out… there is glue stuck to the concrete which we need to deal with… one of those things that makes me nervous about how it will turn out.
And the most exciting part… staging has begun! I’m still trying to finish up lots of little projects for that, which I will definitely be sharing soon!
