Well, somehow it’s Friday again! We’ve had a blast here this week as my son has been in bed with the flu and I have logged 9, 456 trips up and down the steps to meet his requests. But in all seriousness, I’m grateful he is doing well as I realize how hard of a flu season it has been. And I’m grateful no one else has succumbed to it… I’m praying it stays that way!
There isn’t a lot to report since last time, except that I did do a little dance when I finished waxing the kitchen cabinets. Granted, I’m not done, as I’ve only finished the doors and most of the drawers. I’m waiting on the cabinet maker to finish the retrofit for the dishwasher and I will be able to finish up in there.
The carpet and foyer light were installed this week, as were the lights and shower door in the master bath.
The door in the back of the den was special order. Now that it’s in, we can move forward with the rest of the painting and finish up in the bathrooms.
