So I pretty much had this post ready to go a few weeks ago… and then sickness, Disney prep, a push to get the house on the market, garage woes, and Disney itself sorta got in the way. I thought I’d post anyway so you can see progress. But first, a little pic of my cuties during our awesome trip to Disney 🙂
It’s crunch time! We are hoping to get the Angler on the market in the next 2 weeks. Will we get there? Who knows! (UPDATE: we didn’t get there! Still aren’t there!) But it’s good to have a deadline to push ourselves a bit.
Save the bathroom, a lot of the grunt work is done. Countertops should be going in the first of next week, and then the tile backsplash can go in. We are still waiting on some painting.
Outside, we planted some nandina and pansies.
Carpet went in today, so the bedrooms are mostly done except for a few lights and and vents. I’m hoping to start staging soon. About half of the lights are up.
The poor living room is acting like a garage at this house, so it’s accumulating a lot of trash and supplies. I’m sure it will be the last room to be totally done. Here I am on a trip to the recycling plant. Granted, my car looks like some version of this a lot. Guess I should put aside my plans for my Uber career for the foreseeable future.
And that’s where we were, way back when, 3 Thursdays ago. Hopefully, I’ll be able to share fully-staged and market-ready pics soon!
