Have you shopped for natural, custom shades? Every time, I always end up in a bit of sticker shock. I recently purchased 4 more of these and realized I needed to share them here, because I now have them in 4 rooms of our house. And for the record, this isn’t a sponsored post!

What I Want

While shopping for shades, I look for 3 main things: price, customization, and cordless operation. Trying to get all 3 of these things in one shade is tricky. But I’ve gone back again and again for these shades as I’ve added them to more rooms. I like the color and how easy they are to hang and adjust.

The one big drawback is they don’t have a privacy liner. So if you are looking for complete privacy, these aren’t the shades for you. I recently shopped for privacy shades for our bedroom, but after looking at prices, I decided the privacy feature wasn’t worth the added cost. Luckily, it’s not a major concern for our bedroom location.

What These Shades Have

The color of the bamboo reeds vary in shade, highlighting their natural appeal.

Their cordless operation is smooth, and I love not having to deal with tricky cords and catching mechanisms. I also feel like the easy lift and lower is less stressful to the blind than a cord is. Although all of mine are inside mount, you can also flush mount the shades.

Getting the right fit is easy, too, with the shades coming in 2 lengths, 48 inches and 72 inches, as well as widths from 19 1/2″ to 72″ at 1/2″ increments.

The shades start in price at $39. The largest/ most expensive option is 72″ wide and 72″ tall for $111. You just can’t beat it!

So if you happen to be shopping for natural shades, definitely check these out! Not in the market yet? Be sure to pin for later!

  • Mari,
This post was right on time. We repainted our living room and I have been searching for shades, just like this, for months!!!!! And yes, the sticker shock has had us with bare windows for far too long, which isn't good when your house sits right beside the road LOL Thank you so much, I will definitely be ordering these!!!!

  • Excited to try these too! We have really old white 2" blinds or dark wood 2" blinds in our house and I'm ready for something for when the sun is really beating down but I love the natural light most of the day. These just push up from the bottom easily (like for young kids to open too?)
