Garage Update: Concrete & Walls

Curious to see how our garage is moving along? I know I love to see the progression of things, so here it is, from start to where we are now!

After finally getting the fence out of the way, the ground was cut to prepare for the posts…

Posts in the ground, and dirt prepped for concrete.

Concrete poured! It was fun trying to keep Ben in the house all day so we didn’t have paw prints everywhere. (After all, we have cat paw paint prints on our front porch – long story!)

Walls started! Unfortunately, it was ridiculously hot out that day, and the guys had to cut the day short.

The pic below is looking into the workshop from the garage door. It was the first time I was able to get a feel for it, and I was a tad bit excited!

And now today, they laid the attic floor and closed in most of the walls.

and from inside my workshop!

And now I can’t wait to see the roof and some siding. The person doors have been picked out, but I’m still waiting on a quote for the garage doors. Hopefully, next week I will have another great update!
