I have to admit, I’ve had a little bit of a crush on my brass bar pulls in my bathroom. And I love them with the navy paint on the vanity.
So I really wanted to find another way to use this combo, so combined with my mission lately of hanging more pictures, I made this little picture frame… doesn’t get much easier than this! Feel free to substitute your favorite colors, or even knobs instead of pulls.
I used a 1×12 board and 6 inch bar pulls from Liberty Hardware. (The Lew’s Hardware pulls that I put in my bathroom were a bit of a splurge, so I definitely needed a more economical option for this!) Have no fear, there are tons to choose from just on Amazon alone! Or, if you really want to get fancy, try some of these anything but boring knobs and pulls.
The frames are simple acrylic frames. I wanted something frameless to let the hardware shine. They are lightweight, and unlike many acrylic frames, they do not have a stand on the back for them to stand on their own. They are simply sitting atop the pulls, but if I have any issues, I’ll just add a tab of velcro at the top of the frame.
And by the way, if you don’t have one of these babies yet, you’re missing out! Never install another pull without it!
